100 Miles North, led by Brigid Walsh - a certified Sustainability Designer from The Pratt Institute and certified Permaculture Designer from The Center for Bio-Regional Living - specializes in regenerative design solutions for both home and land.
After nearly a decade as an Executive at Vogue magazine, Brigid segued into Environmental Design while working on several personal and governmental land use projects in upstate New York. With an instinctual passion for problem-solving, Brigid uses environmental design techniques to add an “earth-first” solution set to every project, whether on a household-scale or a global-scale. Our space at Red Owl is an extension of the work 100 Miles North is doing to create circularity in the way we use and reuse products, materials, and ideas.
