Jen Rydell Art and Design
Inspired by the drawing, painting, mixed media, and assemblage art forms that Jen Rydell has been practicing since childhood, she founded @jenrydell.art.design to showcase her love of creating art and collecting. Finding vintage & antique pieces that have been designed and made by other creators in the form of furniture, 2-D and 3-D art, pottery, lighting, textiles, etc and designing with them has been a pursuit since her teenage years.
After careers in jewelry design and teaching art for the past 30 years, her focus is now both sharing these curated vintage pieces with their next owners and making original art. Besides drawing and painting, she uses vintage pieces that are no longer useful in their original form, as well as natural elements to create new artistic pieces. A mix of eras, styles, colors, materials and textures combine in her space. The furniture, art, accessories work together to create visually-interesting and unique environments.
