“My love of books began as soon as I could walk to a bookcase and take down a book. Soon I discovered my small town’s library, and I was there every week after school hauling as many books as I could carry home to read. As I grew older and amassed a huge library for myself, a friend who was familiar with upstate makers markets and flea markets suggested I start selling books because I had a unique take on books, especially vintage and first editions, and so Xtraordinarybooks was born. I try to find unique books on photography, interior design and social history - books that readers can put in their own libraries or put them on display in living rooms or guest bedrooms.” - Ricky Spears
